Evaluations And Effects Of University-Owned Enterprise’s Technological Innovation Ability On Enterprise Performance

Innovation is not only an important element to the development of a country,but also the first leading power of growth. With the progress of human society, the demand for technology products and technology experience shows the tendency of increasing rapidly.And people are growing awareness of science and technology. In this context, technical innovation will have significant influence on the development of human society. At present, the enterprise has become the main body of technological innovation. With a high starting point, high progress and high benefit, university-owned enterprises directly under the Ministry of Education, which take the market as the guide and make full use of preferential policies of the nation, have become the main body of the high-tech enterprises. Technical innovation plays an important role in enterprise performance and national economic growth, so this article focuses on the relationship between technological innovation of university-owned enterprises directly under the Ministry of Education and enterprise performance.Firstly, this paper collected the data of technical innovation ability and enterprise preference of university-owned enterprises directly under the Ministry of Education in 2013 using the questionnaires. Secondly, it used analytic hierarchy process to evaluate rankings of technological innovation of university-owned enterprises directly under the Ministry of Education. Lastly, linear regression was carried out to analyze the impact of innovation ability on enterprise performance. The results show that the personnel quantity of R&D and amount of technological achievements have a significant impact on enterprise performance. But the expenses of R&D, the expenditure paid to the government and the amount of annual new products have no obvious influence on enterprise performance. And the capitalization rate of R&D cost has inhibitory effect on performance. This study provides the direction and guidance for managers of university-owned enterprises directly under the Ministry of Education. It also helps to promote the technological innovation ability of university-owned enterprises directly under the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, it provides the reference for the enterprise to enhance performance.
