While the tourism of China transfers from just going sightseeing to combing with feeling and leisure, guest house becomes a good choice for the tourist. Benefitting from the new rural construction, some villages become so beautiful to be new tourism destinations. Guest house as a combination of rural tourist attractions and hotel, which is providing a new choice of lodging, nowadays becomes more and more popular. But the public infrastructure around guest house is always weak because of far away from the city, so it takes new challenge for the tourism public service. From literature review we can find that the current research for tourism public services, mainly in the rural tourism and other aspects, but very small for specifically for the guest house. This article takes Dachen for example which is first opened and running well in Yongkang city, through a literature review, field visits, questionnaires, etc., making the survey of demand and present public service, try to find importance and satisfaction of public service for tourists and operators. Also having interviews with government departments and village organization. Upon the basis of data analysis, pointing the problems in public service of guest house industry in Yongkang, and giving the improving strategy. The meaning of the article is providing advices in public service of guest house industry in Yongkang, and providing a reference for government decision-making. This article considered the main problem is not distinctive characteristics, the weak of the organization, lack of product development, tourism added value is low. Causes of problems mainly exist the hard of manage administration, not established industry organizations, difficult to continue to ensure funding, couldn’t refining local characteristics, single marketing channels and lack of professionals. Concluded, the approving strategies of Yongkang guest house industry include:from the government point of view, to regulate the industry, promote the establishment of organizations, to strengthen guidance of operating characteristics, to integrate the tourism resources of the whole city and explore the way of social providing public service; from the operator point of view, to support the village development and improve self management level, to improve their service and market awareness, focus on the industry chain, to strengthen cooperation with other tourism-related enterprises, to open up the Internet as the representative of new marketing channels.
