Research On Sustainable Growth Model Of International Engineering Contractor

With the development of economic globalization, as a key industry of going out, China’s international contracting industry shows rapid development momentum. However, international project contracting environment is constantly changing and international engineering contracting market shows new features, which makes China international engineering contracting business exposes many problems. Therefore sustainable growth of international engineering contracting business is seriously restricted, which needs to shift from extensive expansion to lean sustainable development.Firstly, this study reviews the theory of international engineering contracting and sustainable growth, and then proposes five stages of sustainable growth and five capacity of international engineering contracting,both of them are to build a model of sustainable growth for international contractor; Secondly, this study summarizes factors that affects the sustainable growth of international contractor by literature reviewing, then establishes an index system about capacity of sustainable growth; Thirdly, this study analyzies goals and obstacles of Chinese international engineering contractor to achieve sustainable growth, then establishes a sustainable growth path model of Chinese international engineering contracor, and in order to ensure the realization of the path model, the generation and built of sustainable growth capacity are deeply analyzed; Finally, this study takes a Chinese international engineering contractor as an example and uses AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate its capacity for sustainable growth;Results of this study reveals the sustainable growth and development law of international engineering contracting business from a relatively new perspective, and also reveals the path to achieve it, which will serve for international engineering contractor toachieve sustainable growth.
