The aging of the population is a worldwide problem, and most Asia countries are faced with the problem. This study aims to explore the current situation of seniors human resources in South Korea, to analyze the reemployment motivation, and to explore the effects of motivation and perception of government/corporations supports on reemployment success of seniors population in South Korea. The survey was conducted in Seoul of South Korea, with the target population of people above 55 years old, with the help of Guro-gu District Office. The questionnaires were distributed by convenience sampling method, a total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, and finally 319 valid data were collected. The descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis were analyzed with SPSS software. The findings indicated that there are three dimensions of seniors reemployment, namely, family and social needs, achievement needs, and health needs. There is positive relationship between reemployment motivation and reemployment success. The perception of government/corporations supports also contribute positively to reemployment success.Theoretically, this study contributed to the literature on three aspects. First, this study proposed the theoretical model of reemployment motivation, perception of government/corporations supports, and reemployment success based on extensive literature review. Second, this study analyzed the current situation of seniors reemployment in South Korea, and extracted three dimensions of reemployment by conducting factor analysis. The results provided new findings to the literature. Third, most previous studies of seniors reemployment rest on theoretical study, and rare empirical research was conducted. This study explored the effects of motivation and perception of government/corporations supports on reemployment success by conducting regression analysis. The findings of this study provide valid data and may serve as a foundation for future research.Practically, the findings of this study provide valuable guidance to deal with the current aging of the population issues for government, corporations and individual. From the government perspective, it is necessary to delay the retirement age, enlarge the employment projects, develop senior industry, and update relevant regulations so as to resolve the problem of seniors reemployment. From the corporate perspective, it is important to carry out human resources exchange programs, enlarge reemployment internship, and encourage successful senior projects so as to train more qualified workers. From the individual perspective, it is urgent to participate in training, skills update, and role exchange so as to enhance quality and to ensure the reemployment success.
