Leaders who trust employees(especially emotional trust) could promote employees to show the return more to the innovation behavior of leadership, but the relationship may be moderated by employee’s individual risk propensity and empowerment leadership. The sample was obtained from 318 employees paired with 39 teams from different industries. The results showed that(1) leaders’ trust to employees was related to the employees’ innovation behavior;(2) risk propensity has positive moderation between trust and innovative behavior;(3) the triple interaction effect of leaders trust to employees, empowerment leadership and employees’ risk propensity on innovative behavior was significantly positive. When employees with the high level of risk propensity work in higher empowerment leadership, leaders’ trust to employees can enhance their innovative behavior. We also discussed the relationship between leaders’ trust to employees, empowerment leadership, risk propensity and employees innovative behavior, so as to identify the relationship between the individual factors and environmental factors affecting employees’ creativity and to provide theoretical guidance for identify employees innovative behavior. In addition, the findings of this study also provide the guidance for the enterprise and leaders to increase employee innovative behavior.
