In recent years, with the beginning of China’s Internet, e-commerce market is developing rapidly. Under the wave, the tobacco industry constantly shifts from the shopkeeper to the itinerant trader, from level 3 wholesale to the trinity of industry, commerce and retail, which is based on Internet of cigarette marketing network construction has obtained certain achievements, e-commerce get more extensive application in the field of tobacco. However, in the retail end eventually trading which links with the consumer, electric business mode is not popular.This article obtains from the current cigarette marketing, to explore the possibility of e-commerce in this field. Article is divided into five parts:the first part is introduction, mainly on background description, including research purpose and meaning, the current situation analysis of e-commerce in tobacco industry and the main contents of this article; The second part of the theory introduces the basic theory of e-commerce including concepts, contents and characteristics, and research to analyze their different characteristics from domestic representative electric business modes; The third part is the background, from the development course and the current situation of informatization construction of tobacco industry at home and abroad, which introduces the evolution of the cigarette e-commerce and summarizes existing electric business modes in marketing; The fourth part is the practical research to tobacco company in Yichang, Hubei province as an example, summarizing the current situation and conditions of the development of e-commerce and researching the feasibility of the development of e-commerce under the current system of monopoly in retail customers-consumers link by the market research method, to revolve the problems from the investigation; The fifth part is the future forecast, from the investigation and analysis, to explore the most suitable e-commerce mode in the tobacco industry, and new way of getting profit and profit growth point, for the full realization of e-commerce and providing insights and ideas of sustainable development.Article is written by information literature method, introducing the status and characteristics of the typical e-commerce mode of the current domestic retailers; by the method of comparative analysis of the current tobacco e-commerce modes, looking for exploring the most suitable e-commerce path; by adopting questionnaire survey, sampling Yichang cigarette consumer acceptance of cigarette sales electric business mode and feedback; by using statistics, survey data, graph analysis, formulating feasible measures. Through a series of analysis and research, the conclusions and forecast are:in the current tobacco monopoly system, tobacco e-commerce remains possible; O2O mode is more suitable for the current tobacco industry reality; on the basis of the logistics development of non-smoking,the electronic commerce of non-smoking will become the new profit mode.
