| Nowadays, C hina has the largest tobacco production and consumption in the world. With the development of market economy, the cigarette demand of the domestic market is yearly rising. C igarette types, quantities and dealers are increasing rapidly, and the development becomes diversified, including multi-type and small-batch. Which is undoubtedly put great challenges to the cigarette logistics. However, mechanization still hasn’t been utilized in some regions. Furthermore, the standards of logistical instruments differ from each other evidently, which results in high cost of package, distribution and low efficiency. Therefore, standards are required urgently in this field. Due to the control ability to cost, efficiency, satisfaction and environment protection of cigarette package, proposing suitable standards for cigarette package and distribution play an essential role in modern cigarette logistics from both theoretical and practical senses.Based on the above consideration, this paper starts from the package for distribution of cigarettes, considering all aspects of the process corresponding to tobacco logistics distribution. Based on the obtained categories, parameters and proportions of different package, the evaluation method based on TOPSIS and combined weight coefficients method is proposed to assess the package schemes. In the method proposed in this paper, three key techniques are included and can be summarized as: the first step is to determine the factors of commercial cigarette logistics, including product performance, logistics functions, environmental protection, market demands and economic cost, are obtained; the second step is the calculation of weight coefficients corresponding to each index by the combined weight method; the third step is to determine the optimal package scheme by TOPSIS method. Then comparisons between each scheme to the ideal point are performed through standard curves chart analysis. After that, the evaluation model of commercial cigarette package is finally founded. At last, the validity of proposed method is demonstrated by an example of cigarette logistics enterprise in C hongqing. The results provide a technical support to the production and operation of enterprises. |
