Enterprises are the cells of the social economy, and are the main participants in market activities. In the difficult development process of Chinese modern social economy, the generation, formation and development of the national enterprises occupy an important position. Chinese national enterprises in the generated early are faced with foreign enterprises and foreign products in China occupying the absolute advantage of the adverse conditions. How to survive and develop under extremely unfavorable conditions is the first thing that every national entrepreneur has to give priority to in the beginning of the establishment of the enterprise. As China’s largest seasoning powder enterprises in the period of the Republic of China, Tianchu gourmet powder factory, which is founded in 1923 by Wu Yunchu, Zhang Yiyun et, still maintained a strong vitality. "Tian" brand enterprises are founded on the base of Tianchu gourmet powder factory. It has nearly a hundred years of history, so it is typical and great. Its rise and fall is not only the modern seasoning powder industry, but also a microcosm of the history of Chinese modern chemical industry and even modern industrial development.In the early Republic of China, Japanese Ajinomoto seasoning powder products as light and chemical industry emerging to fill the gaps in the China market, are popular and profitable in the absolute monopoly market gradually. By the background of saving the nation by industry, coupled with high profits stimulation, Wu Yunchu invented domestic monosodium glutamate. He established Tianchu gourmet powder factory in 1923. Tianchu won the market by means of the propaganda mode of Buddhism, and shaping the image of the star of domestic products. In the fierce competition with the Japanese and the domestic industry, it won the victory by virtue of technology and quality. In the 1930s, with the domestic seasoning powder industry competition further intensified and aggravating national crisis, under the leadership of the Wu Yunchu, Tianchu realized the transfer of business strategy. He founded continuously the Tianyuan Chemical Factory, Tiansheng pottery factories, Tianli nitrogen factory and other enterprises, and established the chain of "Tian" band chemical enterprises. Wu Yunchu, the founder of the "Tian" band enterprise groups, is rich in entrepreneurial spirit of innovation, leading enterprises’ the growth from light industry to heavy industry. On the other hand, Tianchu gourmet powder factory completed the reform transition from unlimited liability company into shares Co., Ltd., perfecting the system of the allocation of equity. On the other hand, it founded the Institute of chemical industry in China, set up the education fund, etc, and strengthened the support for the cause of science education and the cause of social welfare. This not only improved the technical level of their own personnel, the practice of the trinity of business philosophy, but also has made important contributions for the Chinese modern science and technology personnel training. All of these have greatly promoted the development of enterprise.To study the history of" Tian" brand enterprises growing up, to observe the modern national enterprise how to in market competition, protection of property rights, product management, strategic management, and other aspects of adjustment so as to adapt to the changing social environment in order to achieve the historical experience of the development. So we can have a more clear and profound understanding of the development of the national enterprise, and provide some useful reference for the current Chinese enterprises to further deepen the reform.
