With the expansion of computer network and related technology, the demand to internal network security, stability and expansibility of large enterprises is higher and higher. Virtualization technology is rapidly used in large LAN contribution and reconstruction project because of its high reliability, low cost and easy extension. Also, the optimization ability of network structure and the efficiency improvement of equipment management operations are widely needed in the same field.Through the study of the existing literature, this paper introduces the development course and the research significance of virtualization technology. With the brief introduction and comparison analysis to the characteristics of VRRP and IRF technology, this paper focuses on the important significance of network construction and the expansion of topology based on IRF2 virtualization technology. On the basis of theoretical analysis, this paper analyses the actual network structure of the power supply enterprise, concludes the problems of existing network topology and summarizes the purpose of network improve scheme. This paper designs two different project based on mainstream VRRP and IRF2 technology. With the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages respectively for these two projects, the final reconstruction scheme which fits the development of the power supply enterprise network system is chosen.The given solution in this paper satisfies the demand and reduces the cost of network reconstruction for the power supply enterprise. With the improvement of elastic network architecture, it provides a guarantee to the efficient and reliable running situation to the power supply enterprise and a basis to further extension of the topology.
