Recently, the momentum of rapid development of China’s information technology, banking, information technology applications is extremely broad, banking information system as a support, not only to promote financial innovation, and promote the development of an important support for the banking sector, but also become the bank to build the core competitiveness important tool. At present, large state-owned banks, state-owned joint-stock commercial banks, city commercial banks mostly provincial use of information systems and data centralization of information technology operation mode, the so-called big science and technology focus operation mode refers to the production of business-critical information systems are centralized depends carried out at the head office operation, maintenance, management, branch just deployed some simple network devices or systems access node machine head office, eventually carried on the system and all kinds of business transactions are aggregated to the head office of critical information systems for processing. This centralization of information technology operation mode, so that the head office level information systems become critical, these systems are almost carries the processing and storage of all business data, can not tolerate any risk during the operation, the head office of the production data center appear once dang aircraft accidents, will paralyze the whole banking foreign business services, not only will bring huge financial losses the bank, but also have a negative impact on the bank’s reputation, and even disrupt social order. Therefore, in order to ensure the safety and stable operation of banking information systems, to ensure the continuity of banking services, the establishment of disaster recovery system has become the most important work of the banking financial institutions, to build a good disaster recovery system, it is of great significance for the banks. This paper describes the background and significance of disaster recovery, and research status of domestic and foreign banks to establish the necessity of the proposed disaster backup system, and the financial sector through the introduction of basic knowledge of disaster backup system, indicating the bank in disaster recovery system construction method procedure should be followed, focusing on key indicators and construction mode. Meanwhile, to make the foreshadowing for the later illumination of necessary analysis and conclusions of G Bank’s disaster backup and recovery, combining with the reality of G bank IT and business operations, the author proposes the overall architecture and programming of "three centers within two cities".Revolving around the programming, and to achieve the goal of the business continuity in one city and the consistency of remote data, we design the disaster recovery system data layer structure of G Bank in one city or not; detail the relevant technologies involved; and make several tests to the system. According to the results, we come up with the relevant optimization scheme to further improve the disaster backup system of G Bank. Thereupon, it greatly enhances banks’ ability to respond to sudden emergency; also, data security and business resilience has much improved.
