Research On The Relationship Between Intellectual Capital And Enterprise Performance

Nowadays,this fact that intellectual capital can bring huge value returns has been known to more and more managers.It lead to the situation of competition between enterprises has changed. It is no longer a traditional competitive products from the material, but compared with the beginning of intangible knowledge, customer relations, operation system and personnel for the enterprise. Therefore in order to make the enterprise to formulate reasonable intellectual capital management strategy according to their actual situation to promote the role of enterprise management performance. These can provide a certain research value for the theoretical circles, but also has the significance for the enterprise managers to provide practical guidance.In this study, we use the intellectual capital research literature. The intellectual capital is divided into four categories: namely, human capital, innovation capital, process capital and customer capital. In the measure of intellectual capital, this paper uses the method of combining intellectual capital and DuPont analysis. In order to facilitate the research of both correlation between intellectual capital and enterprise performance,we use the financial indicators to evaluate the performance of enterprises based on comprehensive analysis of the domestic and foreign research. Firstly, this paper introduces the core concepts, the elements and their measurement methods of intellectual capital and enterprise performance.Then I made a summary of the relationship between intellectual capital and corporate performance based on the existing literature.And the analysis and evaluation model of intellectual capital is introduced.I chose the household electrical appliance enterprises as a sample.They are listed on the Shenzhen stock exchang and Shanghai stock exchange in China before 2010. I analyze the data of Sample Firms by using SPSS software. I use 16 financial indicators to form an integrated indicator F as an alternative to corporate performance. The index is applied to performance evaluation of the XTE company..At last, I analyze the data of the intellectual capital and enterprise performance in the XTE company. 2012-2014, and draw the conclusion that the correlation between the two.Research shows that there is a positive correlation between intellectual capital and firm performance. Enterprises should attach importance to the establishment of intellectual capital evaluation system, strengthen the management of intellectual capital, so that it can effectively improve the performance of enterprises.
