Construction of Inland port can be achieved coastal ports functions, to achieve the inland enterprises customs clearance rapidly. And it can not only reduce logistics costs, but also increase the amount of foreign trade in inland areas. Inland port logistics based nuclear play its role in the field, continue to gathering and attracting logistics resources in inland areas. And it promotes the economic development of inland ports.Inland port needs to develop logistics industry scientifically and sustainably to drive the economic development in the hinterland. Based on the access to relevant references, the paper is from the perspective of sustainable development of inland ports, for the study of inland port logistics base nuclear, the inland port formation theory, integrated field theory, the theory of carrying capacity, transportation planning theory, environmental protection and other basic theory as the guiding theory. The paper presents the definition, the features, the elements and other basic points of inland port logistics base nuclear carrying capacity. Then in-depth analysis of the impact factor for inland port logistics base nuclear carrying capacity, by using base nuclear conceptual model to describe the main elements of inland port logistics base nuclear carrying capacity and the interaction between this elements. Based on the conceptual framework of inland port logistics base nuclear carrying capacity theory, to build the logistics carrying capacity model, road network carrying capacity model and quantitative model of inland port logistics base nuclear carrying capacity theory under the constraints of external environment, and analyze the results of the model. The paper obtains the ability of inland port logistics base nuclear attracts and gathers sources, and obtains the bottlenecks that effect inland port base nuclear development. It can avoid blind construction and development of the inland port, able to give full play to logistics base nuclear resources and advantages. Finally, the paper uses a case study of Xi’an International Logistics Park to measure and calculate carrying capacity.The paper’s purpose is to provide a theoretical basis for the planning and construction of inland port logistics base nuclear.
