Financial Statements Analysis Basde On Harvard Analysis Framework

Taking Harvard analysis framework as the main tool to analyze financial statement of China National Building Materials Corporation(CNBM,3323.HK) have certain theoretical and practical value. This research is on the basis of literature review and the data mainly comes from the financial report of CNBM. Through investigation, financial analysis and normative analysis, the strategy, accounting, finance and prospect of building materials in China are analyzed from the height of strategy and put forward suggestions on the strategy and management of building materials in China.The profitability of the CNBM in 2010- 2014 five years has a volt industry but the overall situation is good and still at a good level compared with the industry standard; the decline in operating capacity, compared with industry standards, at a medium level; short term and long-term solvency declined year by year, at a low level; the growth ability is increasing trend, some fluctuations, compared with the industry standard, at a good level. This is in agreement with the strategic choice of building materials in China. It also shows that there is a huge gap in the internal control and capital management in the process of the acquisition of building materials in ChinaIn the future, the building materials industry process will be in a stable situation, industry profits will be suppressed, but still in good level, South Central, East China market will be picked up, northwest relatively stable. CNBMshould strengthen the overseas expansion, strengthen the internal control and management of the enterprise and improve the overall operational efficiency and solvency.The innovation of this research is to introduce the Harvard analysis framework into the financial statement analysis of building materials in China. Based on the strategy analysis, analyze the accounting and financial then analyze the prospects for the CNBM management and control and investors to provide decision-making support. CNBM financial statements whitewash and recognition, the information quality of the financial reports, accounting treatment behind the financial indicators and the deep excavation of the enterprise operation will be studied later.
