New technology changed people’s life style, as well as changed production mode, especially in electronics production, which has to adapt to increasingly individuation and diversification of consumer electronic products market demand and the demand variability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity push manufacturers strive for the survival and development in the increasingly fierce competition in the international and domestic market. This dissertation takes EAP electronics manufacturing company as an example, based on the research of the launching and application of "Toyota Production System", aim to contribute to the non-automotive industry field Toyota Production System application. The experience of exploring Toyota Production System management do not only can provide non-auto industry a reference to a certain extent, but also enrich Toyota Production System practice research, supplement the lack of theory research object and deepen the research level, and through research Toyota Production System application practice, put forward the imported management system localization and continuous improvement.This dissertation mainly used the method of document analysis, data analysis and survey research to do EAP company diagnosis, the existing problems’ root causes in the company system reform are analyzed and discussed, and puts forward improvement plan. Brainstorming method, six sigma tools improvement scheme and selection methods, to do innovative application of "Toyota Production System" by localization, standardized, systematic and institutionalized in a series of planning design. Using SPC, KPI key indicators evaluation method to evaluate innovative management practices, analysis, and concluded an applicable principle of general application, systematic management and practical experience.Through effective localization, the pattern of "Toyota production system" convert to local management model which is suitable the current management system, clear the way to systematic enterprise culture, organization structure, and any inert barrier factors in the management, let top management has strategic cognition, improves the importance, and actively involved in day-to-day operational detail, make continuous improvement actions become a habit, standardization, and form a management mode of systematic and institutionalized. Through introducing "Kanban" management, 7S management, operation standardization, Just-In-Time production, automation, and six Sigma continuous improvement tools, etc., to develop flexible, rapid response system to any changes or request such as market changes, order or demand changes or new requirements. Create a virtuous circle in the corporate culture, and let the good behavior become a habit.In sum, this dissertation summarizes the management system transformation experiences and lessons learned during the "Toyota Production System" management application. Aim to find a suitable solution for the situation of Chinese way of management and an effective method to improve enterprise competitiveness to form a new management system and realize institutionalization and localization of foreign management model during carrying on the system reform and the overall optimization to, as well as guarantee the sustainable development of the enterprise with healthy and successful manner, to against the economic crisis, and strives for the survival and development in the fierce market competition. At the same time, it also brings hope and opportunity to the Pearl River Delta manufacturing enterprises. |
