Research On Selection Of Technology Partners Based On SAO Analysis

The arrival of technical economic adds the complexity and specialization of technology. It becomes more and more difficulty that enterprises only rely their own to carry out the activities about technology research and development. While, technical cooperation could reduce the R&D risks and costs, make cooperators share resources and technologies. It is a fundamental driving force to could help enterprises survive better in new environment survival and a useful way for enterprises to improve core competitiveness and the level of technological innovation. However, effectively taking the advantages of technical cooperation depends on the technical compatibility between cooperators.Therefore, studying the choice of technology partners has significant meaning to promote the technical cooperation between enterprises, to enhance the technological innovation level of the industry.This paper proposes a SAO analysis based technology partner selection process. To construct the enterprise groups which can be obtained by analyze the cooperative vision, the similarity of patent distribution and sub-filed distribution. Then, analyze the similarity and complementary of the technical resources between these groups to make the cooperative model. Final, identify the superior enterprises and hot technologies by building the technology distribution map. Based on this, the cooperator, cooperative technologies can be obtained and make the cooperative plan. This paper chose DSSCs as object and construct the groups that have the possibility to cooperate. We compare the similarity and complementary of the components of DSSCs to make the cooperative model. The result can be confirmed by the truth to some extent. Last, We chose two groups to make the cooperative plan. This method applies SAO analysis in the partner selection model. Compared with the traditional partner selection method, it has three advantages:(1) it realizes the cooperation for specific technologies between partners,(2) make the cooperative plan according to the differences between the key research points of the cooperators,(3) it can make the cooperation more detailed, not only select the cooperator, but alse identify the specific cooperative technologies, and make the corresponding plan. The results of this paper has significant meaning for guiding enterprise select the cooperators in practice. It is also useful to help enterprises improve the success possibility, share the risk and reduce cost.
