The establishment of the people’s commune in 1958 brought the forming of the rural collective assets. With the rural system reform, especially with the establishment of the household contract responsibility system, the rural collective assets has developed very fast and has made remarkable achievements. However, with the rapid economic and social development, a lot of suburban rural areas have also embarked on the way of urbanization. The value of the land greatly increased, as well as the second and the third industry get flourish, there comes a large number of landless farmers. But due to the lack of a clear system of property rights, the subject of rural collective assets is not certain, the management on collective asset is not sound, and lacks supervision on collective assets, etc., the traditional collective economy management system is not suitable for collective asset management and a reasonable distribution of collective income, which causes the various contradictions. Under such circumstances, it is necessary to establish a new collective asset management system to adapt the operation and development of the rural collective assets under the new situation, the reform of rural collective property rights system is imperative. So we need to explore an effective way on the reform of rural collective property rights system which can both make sure that the management on the collective asset is scientific and effective in order to avoid the loss of collective assets and make the collective property grow continuously. Besides, it is also important to let the operational status of the collective assets open and transparent to the farmers to ensure that the farmers have the right to make supervision on the collective assets and can have income from the growing collective assets, thus to realize the common prosperity.The paper set the path of property rights system reform of rural collective assets in the process of urbanization as the research object. Through the analysis and comparation on several feasible mode which names "carve up" reform, reform of classical cooperation system, reform of classical joint-stock system and reform of joint-stock cooperation system, the paper thinks that the reform of joint-stock cooperation system is the most suitable mode for the reform of property right system in rural areas. Also through the examples of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province; Zhu Jia Hang village, Meilong Town, Shanghai and Miaofengshan Town, Beijing, the paper make the comparative analysis on the specific ways of the reform during the implementation and list the advantages and disadvantages of every specific way.Finally, this paper makes the practice of the reform in Xinqiao town as an example, analyzes the characteristics while agrees the system achievements, economic achievements and the social achievements we got. Based on the achievements, the paper sums up the experience of the reform. Also the paper points out that there are still some problems such as the politics and the group is not divided, the management system is not scientific, the stock rights is closed etc.in the reform of Xinqiao town, Songjiang District. Through making suggestions such as perfecting the management system, enhancing the management ability and researching the way to open the stock rights etc. to improve the reform, the paper provides reference for the path selection of rural collective property right system reform in the process of urbanization.
