Status Investigation And Improving Suggestion For Facility Farming Of Liangzhou District, Wuwei City

Facility agriculture overcome the limiting factor which tradition agriculture production restricted by temperature. Meanwhile it can get produce out of season and top-quality and high-yield produce, and facility agriculture more conducive to agriculture efficiency and farmer’s income. Hence, facility agriculture has become the important agriculture production way in china. Liangzhou district has 1.0352 million people, of which 0.7412 million are engaged in agriculture, so it is the urgent problem to improve the income of the agriculture population by increase investment of facility agriculture. This article made investigation of the facility agriculture in Liangzhou district to discuss solution to the problem. The main results as follow:1. Liangzhou district built Gaoba, Huangyang, Fafang, Wunan, Yongchang, Qingyuan, Jinyang, and so on 7 towns, which more than ten thousand mu of facility agriculture. There were 23 towns more than 5000 mu and 8 towns more than 2000 mu of facility agriculture.2. Facility agricultural area has reached 5125.2 hm2 in 2014 and the area was 5.33% of the field area in Liangzhou district, up 90.57% from 2010. The cattle, pigs, sheep on hand were 374800, 803100 and 1.0004 million, respectively. And the stock farming has increased 1.9 billion Yuan. The total facilities agricultural products output has reached 1.5017 million tons. Facility vegetable has 0.59 million tons of these and the output value of facility vegetable has reached 2 billion Yuan, accounts for 40% of the total value of vegetable in Liangzhou district. It is of great importance for increasing peasants’ income. Especially, the development of Solar Greenhouse favors economic circumstances of local peasants, the input cost of Solar Greenhouse is about 130 RMB per square meter, income contribution ratio is over 60%, and the ratio of Solar Greenhouse to livestock breeding facility industry is 2 to 1.3. It is believed that there exist the following problems: Government intervention cause the contradiction intensifies and the lag of construction of facility agricultural information system. The investment of scientific and technological innovation is insufficient. Agricultural infrastructure construction quality, standardization and industrialization level is low. Agricultural facilities cost recovery period is long and the ability of resist the market risk is bad. Besides, the control technique of animal and plant diseases is weak.4. The suggestions for improvements as follow: The government should play the role of distribute agricultural resource and service function such as set up planning, raise funds, land conversion, technology services and propaganda. It should reduce administrative means instead of market regulation. The farmers who agriculture production is dominant should learn the domestic and foreign advanced technology to improve standardization and scale of agricultural infrastructure construction and to realize mechanization and intellectualization in manage of facility agriculture. People should establish networked marketing channels and play the regional features of agricultural products.If we follow the guide direction of national agricultural policy, obey the market law of supply and demand, and at the same time the local government provides guidance and service to give full play the creativity of farmer, facility agriculture will be raised greatly.
