The Research And Development Of Plastic Mould Base Quoting System Based On Feature Recognition

Moldbase industry is a downstream industry of mold industry, based on the development of the latter. With people’s increasing demand for product diversification, personalization and humanization,the demand for nonstandard moldbase will be exploding and moldbase enterprises will get more chance to develop.However,the mature of manufacturing capacity and market of moldbase,make the competition more fiercely. If enterprises want to gain a competitive advantage,they should enhance the ablitity of quick and accurate quoting.It is important to the developmemt of moldbase enterprises,by using computer technology to realize the automation and intelligence of quotation,Since the mold belongs to semi-standardized product,we can principl statistics all template items in principle. According to the items cost database of enterprise, calculating the mold processing costs item by item,will get accurate price. Because of the large number of mold processing items,it will lead to many defaults and make the method of calculaing not available. To tackle this problem, this paper propose a solution,which adopted feature recognition technology. This method takes the advantage of the only geometric information and the truth of processing items and features, then realizes the automatic recognition of the processing items, and finally a mold base automatic quotation system is constructed. Commonly used feature recognition technology is often based on a single entity for feature recognition,but some features can’t be distinguished only by a single plate.If you want to recognise the features of this type,some other plate must be taken into account. This paper develops the method of based on ruled,and raises a method based on context to recognise processing items,this method advances recognition rate sharply.The main contents of this paper include:(1) Firstly, this paper analyzes the research status of mold base quotation and feature recognition technology, and discusses the idea and the feasibility of using feature recognition technology on mold quotation. This paper uses the method of calculaing item by item, combining the advantages of feature recognition and the demand of accurate quotation, and gives the overall implementation scheme of mould quotation system.(2) On the basis of analyzing the distribution of processing items and plates, ascertains the object of feature recognition. For base holes and accessories, the rule based feature recognition method is proposed.For the related holes,f a context based feature recognition method is proposed.(3)Introduce the information reconstruction and the method of expressing feature on plate,processing hole and accessories,build the reconstruction model of mould base.For recogintion of basic holes and accessories,builds knowledge base. And on the basis of the reconstruction model, the rule based method is adopted to realize the recognition.For the related holes, uses context relations to describe the relationship between the plate,and realizes the feature recognition on the basis of context knowledge base.(4) Introduces the development technology of quotation system and the interface and function of the system. With a running example of this system,the operation mode and price effect are illustrated.
