Research On The Pallet Pooling System Construction And Pallet Dispatch Of City Distribution

With the increasing social and economic development, the rapid growth of e-commerce and business activities, services, increasing demand for city distribution, city distribution industry has been rapid development. At the same time, city distribution vehicle traffic, parking and handling difficult, low level of standardization, highlighting the problem of higher distribution costs, to the development of businesses and the city’s enormous challenges. Ministry of Commerce survey found that a low level of standardization is the higher cost of the important reasons the flow of commerce, and city distribution as an important carrier of the circulation, distribution costs bear the brunt. To solve this problem, the Ministry of Commerce launched the "Business Logistics Standardization special action plan" to encourage the establishment of regional Pallet Pooling System, promote pallet standardization issues, and how to combine Pallet Pooling System and city distribution, which forms this thesis’ s source.After preliminary literature review and survey data found that theoretical research Pallet Pooling System in city distribution system is basically rare. Thus, on the basis of previous research and operational cases, this thesis constructs a conceptual model of city distribution system pallet, determine the system boundary, organizational structure and membership and other infrastructure issues, for support follow-up study. Furthermore, the organizational structure, service network and circulation patterns of Pallet Pooling System is next research. For the empty pallet dispatch problems, this thesis design the actual operation dispatch scenarios, using mathematical modeling methods, make real problem abstract into concrete mathematical model, which solved by linear programming. Finally, this thesis make numerical Example to verify the validity of the model.This study has great theoretical significance and application value, on the one hand, as other scholars in the study of Pallet Pooling System problems and provide new research ideas and directions; on the other hand, this study can help solve real business operating problem, promote Pallet Pooling System application in the field of city distribution, greatly promote logistics standardization and improve social logistics efficiencies.
