Research On The Method Of Comprehensive Performance Evaluation Of Oil Companies In Ecological Economy Perspective

Under the background of global warming, we are implementing eco- economic strategies, promoting energy conservation. As important business parts in the energy sector, Oil companies have to bear certain social responsibilities. Based on the perspective of ecological economy, this article used economic evaluation methods to study the overall performance of the oil companies, to help oil companies adapt to the new situation and do the scientific performance assessment; it can also be the basis for the government and other benefits to make decisions. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:Firstly, the article combined ecological economy, the theories of enterprise performance evaluation and the development trend of oil companies, these information determined the necessity and significance of this research.Secondly, this article established a comprehensive performance evaluation method of oil companies. The article combined the ideas of comprehensive ecological economy, the characteristics and the specific requirements for the oil companies about comprehensive performance evaluation, then determined the use of Triple Performance Evaluation theory as the guiding theory of this article. Based on this, the article built the method of the Comprehensive Performance Evaluation under the background of ecological and economic perspective for oil companies. On one hand, this article built a multi-level of comprehensive performance evaluation system for oil companies, and highlighted the important indicators. On the other hand, this article compared the performance evaluation studies of quantitative methods, combined with Chinese oil company’s specific circumstances, then utilized the Catastrophe Progression method to establish the evaluation quantitative methods. Then this article built the comprehensive performance evaluation model for oil companies under the perspective of ecological economy, and I proposed some application recommendations of the method when we used it.Then, this article applied the comprehensive performance evaluation method of oil companies. I Selected China Petroleum, China Petrochemical and CNOOC,the three representative oil companies as the subjects of case study, then we can get the economic performance, environmental performance, social performance, and comprehensive performance of the three major oil companies. Then I utilized the actual situation of the oil companies to analyze the correctness of the findings. I pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of this article by comparing the performance evaluation method to the evaluation method of the oil companies supposed by state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.Finally, according to the results and analysis in the application of comprehensive performance evaluation method in the three major oil companies, we can see the results are basically the same with the actual situation of the three major oil companies. Then we can draw the conclusion that the comprehensive performance evaluation method based on Triple Performance Evaluation theory and Catastrophe Progression for oil companies is reasonable and feasible. And we discussed the shortages of this paper and proposed some related prospects.
