Qianjin tectonic belt is located at the southwestern part of Damintun hollow zone; it is the third-level tectonic units in the Liaohe depression. The Sha4 section of this tectonic belt is in a low level of exploration. Shen257, Shen640, Qian32 and other wells obtained industrial oil with the further exploration of oil and gas in this area which indicates that there's a huge exploration potential. This research take well area Shen179-Shen263 in Qianjin tectonic belt as the research target to figure out Sha4 section depositional system, reservoir development features and hydrocarbon conditions of Qianjin tectonic belt, proposing the exploration target or suggesting re-welltest target as the purpose. This article is based on the theoretical guidance of the sequence stratigraphy, through utilizing the earthquake, geology information and logging data comprehensively, combining sedimentology, stratigraphy, tectonic geology, petroleum geology, logging stratigraphy and seismic stratigraphy and the related theories and research methods to launch the stratigraphic correlation and division, fine tectonic interpretation and sedimentary microfacies identification in Sha4 section formation and sand group. Making comprehensive logging evaluation of reservoir properties and hydrocarbon potential, forecasting reservoir horizontally, fine description of the spatial distribution of different sand bodies and prediction of hydrocarbon distribution and reservoir properties in main hydrocarbon sands for building the hydrocarbon accumulation mode of Sha4 section is carried out, then combines with the known oil and gas distribution, trap types and rules of oil/gas migration and accumulation to predict and evaluate the favorable area and sand group in reservoir.
