Non-ferrous metal occupies an important position in people's life, especially copper, silver, lead, zinc and so on are indispensable important raw materials, with the development of national economy and the increase of market demand including home and abroad, the exploration of non-ferrous metal resources is particularly urgent. While, the south of Taiji'aobao,Inner Mongolia, mining area lies in the favorable metallogenic belt of metals and precious metals mining with rich mineral resources and great prospecting potential. It is necessary to carry out the research on the ore deposit geological characteristics and metallogenic prediction in the researched region.On the base of collecting the previous research results, it carries a research on the deposit genesis of polymetallic ores, and ore-controlling geological factors in the south of Taiji'aobao, Inner Mongolia. Combined with IP intermediate gradient measurement, soil geochemical survey and the analysis on the characteristics of ore, we discussed the metallogenic regularity, ore genesis of polymetallic ore in the area, then estabilish the metallization mode and predict the mineralization prospect. And it reaches the polymetallic deposit in the south Taiji'aobao is considered to be the hydrothermal filling type. Its main metallogenic time during 17?3140 Ma, namely the middle Jurassic to the late Jurassic. Mainly originated from the tectonic altered fracture zone of granite-porphyry with fissure filled in the early Yanshan stage. The tectonic fracture zone is clumped distribution and divided into three parts, the I southwest and northwest mineralized belt and II central mineralization belt. The structure of ores mainly present veinlets and net veined. The related wall rock alteration is sillicification-biotitization-sericite alteration zone(inner zone), chioritization alteration zone(mesozone) and carbonation-fluoritization zone(exterior zone). It is divided into two metallogenic target area in the researched region——A polymetallic ore prospecting area in south and B northwest polymetallic ore prospecting area in central section.
