The iron deposit of Xingjiang and Jingxian beizhan is one of the most important deposits occurring in the Xingjiang Awulalei—yishijilike metallogenic belt including copper, gold,plumbum,Zinc(iron),which is in the process of prospecting and mining during these years. In the process of participating the producing project of mine lot,the author catalog the information of the some drill holes and take part in the field geological investigation and mapping for mine geology. furthermore, on the basis of collecting previous publications,the author have a relatively good knowledge of the geological characters of the mine. By virtue of all drilling work are on L3 ore body, the paper is finished according the L3 ore body.In this paper,the following details is discussed :(1) The mineralization style including The texture and structure of ore,and the mineral composition of ore;(2) The basic characters of ore body including the geometry shape,attitude and dimension;(3)The relationship between ore body and skarn and intrusion body;(4)The substance resource of metallogeny;(5)The suggestion about range of prospecting. In the processing of paper working,The author explore the change of ore body in the vertical and flat direction through drawing the prospecting line section,level measurement plan,ore body and rock fence diagram,Element mineralization distribution and have a knowledge of the texture, structure and mineral composition of ore through the microscopic investigation on ore,and make sure of the shape, attitude of ore body,high-grade ore body and the relationship of ore body and other geological body through contour map for iron.On the basis of the above researches,the author draw following conclusion :(1)The geometry shape of ore body is tabular cylinder inclining to north direction,the planer projection of ore body is elliptoid shape,the dip angle of ore body is 60°-75°,showing steep in upper part and gentle in lower part.(2)The relationships between metallogeny and skarn are close, the ore body in the skarn and diorite is continuous and high-grade.the host rocks is dominated by skarn,and skarn is also wall rock of deposit,high-grade concentration center is also available in the intrusion.(3)According the ore and rock profile geometry shape,the variation trend of ore body and rock in the plan,the characters of high-grade ore,the author predict that the intrusion was intrude in the N direction.The first magma activity phase provides the source and heat source,it alter the wall rock to skarn,magmatic hydrothermal formed orebody in skarn;The third phase of diorite intrusion cause the secondary mineralization of orebody,it increase the lower ore grade and continuity(4) Through parsing the characteristic of ore and rock,we can draw a conclusion that Beizhan iron deposit is not a single hydrothermal genesis, magmatic mineralization is the main factor of ore-forming,superposite un-magmatic hydrothermal mineralization, Beizhan iron deposit is multi-phase mineralization deposit.(5) The next prospection direction for Beizhan deposit is the deep part of north. According to the gotten data,the center of ore locates between ZK005 and ZK407,relatively in proximity to ZK005.deep drilling should be exerted outside ZK005. As the consequence of the areas in the north ore body are not controld by project,there is a great ore prospecting potential in the north and east of ore body.
