Geological data implies a water ring, mineral, feature geochemical and geological rese arch in areas such as the mass of information has great potential value. With the rapid devel opment of China's economy and society, the breadth and depth of the geological data of the growing demand, geological data and information society services were pushed to a record high degrees. However, due to limitations of expertise, geological information has not been fully utilized, solve this problem, In this paper, the preparation of a comprehensive application of geological maps, which uses plain drawings legend, the existing geology, hydrology, mineral and other information expressed on a map, so that the non-geological professionals can read it to understand to achieve universal knowledge to improve service level of geological information on the purpose of the demonstration is to provide geological information society services in product development, accelerate the transformation to the geology field of social services. This paper analyzes the status of the study of geological data products, domestic and f oreign social service and achievements and problems; investigate the characteristics of the i ntegrated application of geological maps, content and application objects to be expressed; a detailed analysis of the common preparation method maps including maps representation c ontent, graphics, color, design methods and drawing annotation integrated approach provide s a theoretical basis for the preparation of the comprehensve application of geological maps;then Shijiazhuang width(J-50-13) 1:200000Comprehensive geological map application ex ample describes the preparation of geological maps of the comprehensive application proce ss, focusing on a variety of narrative elements to extract cartographic principles and drawin gs legend-making; and finally show the development of integrated application of geological maps conclusion, presentedsome information on Suggestions for the development of simila r products in the future.
