In the deposit of general survey,detailed investigation,exploration,mining design and production stages,mineral resources reserves estimation plays an important role.We can say,reserves estimation work runs through the whole life cycle of a mine.At present,with the rapid development of 3d visualization,the combination of it and statistical analysis method,to accurate the ore body form and elements distribution characteristics and to estimate mineral reserves according to 3D,has becoming a current research hot spot.Statistical analysis method contains a variety of estimation methods and models,using different methods will have different results.At the same time,the variation function is an important tool for statistical analysis,which can be used for quantitative analysis of spatial variability characteristic;the related parameters will have important influence for reserves estimation results,but the related research is relatively weak.Therefore,in this paper,we take Luohe iron ore deposit,which is in Luzong basin as an example,studied the influence of variation function parameters to the results of reserve estimation and comparatively studied the reserves estimation results and influencing factors based on different 3D statistical analysis methods.Through the spatial variation structure analysis and variation function study of the three iron ore bodies,this paper gets the following conclusions:(1)Variation function is influenced by lag distance,data distribution form and nugget:(1)Increasing lag distance will improve the stability of variation function values,but also hide micro variation information;(2)Non-normal distribution data after the logarithmic transformation,it is easier to obtain more stable experimental variogram curve;(3)Increasing nugget will large the range of each datum points,then the configuration of the known data that participate in the valuation will increase,which will cause the entire estimated variance reduction.(2)Logarithmic kriging method is more suitable for the porphyrite deposit reserve estimation compared with other methods,which gets the minimum kriging variance,most stable variation function,better reserve estimation accuracy and results.
