Mineral resources are mainly formed by continuous and long geological action,which appear on the surface or stored in the underground mining value mineral or element aggregation.Whether it is human survival and development,or national security and stability,mineral resources play a decisive role.Calculation of reserves is an important work for the exploration stage,the content is based on the exploration of ore deposit geology,ore geology research and engineering control,information and data obtained from comprehensive above factors,choosing the appropriate method,calculate the deposit parts useful ore production,quality,distribution,morphology,size precision,technical conditions,research,etc.Mineral resources exploration,mining the daily production,market,etc.,all need very comprehensive assessment of mineral resources,mineral resources reserves es timation work.Given the importance of the mineral resources reserves estimation,ensure correct reserves estimation method,process,the error to a minimum,to ensure that the results of calculation are true and correct.Therefore,must according to the o re deposit geological characteristics,occurrence state,etc,combined with the actual exploration work,select the most appropriate estimation method.This paper is based on the development and research project(CB2016-8-3)for the management regulatio ns of mine resources reserves,which is supported by the China Mining Association.The formulation of the regulations for management of mine resources reserves is beneficial to the sustainable development of the national economy and the stability of the social security.It is also an important guarantee for the rational exploitation and protection of mineral resources.In the actual visit mine,in the process of the project implementation and data collection,arrange them.Mainly introduces the commonly used in mineral resources reserve estimation methods including traditional method of polygon method,triangle method,mining segment method,geological block method,cross section method,the contour method,the contour method,arithmetic mean method and geological statistics method and SD method,according to the first principle,applicable conditions,after the last is introduced using the order of the steps,were introduced respectively,and finally summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of each method.C hoose a copper mine as an example,use different methods to reserve estimation,the estimation result difference comparison and analysis,give readers a more comprehensive,systematic understanding of various resources reserves estimation method,easy to choose appropriate and scientific methods to guide the mine production.In addition,some mines in the project investigation and typical mines collected in the data are selected,and the methods used and the basis for the selection of the method are introduced respectively.The application of section method in a lead-zinc mine,the application of geological block method in a phosphate mine,the application of polygon method in the gold mine of Henan Yin Dongpo,the application of geological statistics in the Baishan gold mine in Jilin,and the application of SD method in the Tong Tian Ping gold mine,the conclusion is that the ore deposit should be taken into consideration when selecting the method of reservoir estimation.The most appropriate and appropriate estimation method is chosen according to the geological characteristics and occurrence state.
