Focus on the short time of exploration in the South Bijialing oilfield,together with the complex characteristics of the limited of data interpretations,unclear of the geology characteristics,and unknown of the hydrocarbon accumulations.This paper studied from the stratigraphic correlation,analysised the geoloy characteristics of the South Bijialing oilfield,interpreted the seismic data,studied the sedimental characteristics,described the hydrocarbon accumulations,and gived the exploration target optimization.The result shows:the formation northwest direction in general,denudation in southeast,structure-litholoy trap.The main faults are three with the NE trend-NW inclination.Fault 5 has the regulating effect,the main reservoir located in the up-throw side of fault 5.The main reservoir is fan delta front subfacies,with good porosity and permeability.Physical properties became worse as the increase of depth,mainly caused by diagenesis.Block off of the fault is the key of the hydrocarbon accumulation,and there is a good preservation condition of formation.The source of oil is abundant,with a good number of reservoirs.But,by the affect of the tectonic movement,some early traps were broken.The oil moved toward higher traps,caused the small size of the traps now.By study,found 2 good traps: J607 and east of Bijialing which are located in good target.This paper confirmed the structure,geology,and reservoir characteristics,revealed the rules of hydrocarbon accumulation,gave a significant meaning for exploreration and development in South Bijialing oilfield.
