Design And Implementation Of Digital Campus Based On WebGIS

With the continuous development of society and at the period of China's booming urbanization,constructing digital city has become an irreversible historical trend to develop modern cities worldwide.Campus is a pint-sized city,All faculties teaching here,all students learning here,all staffs working here,thus campus have a mission to solve all the problems here.The administration and development of a school have to consider all aspects which including teaching,scientific research,management,environment,livelihood,etc.Only all the aspects built completely,collaborated connectedly and fully implemented,can the whole running efficiency and the core competitiveness of the school improved.Therefore,based on the campus network and the achievement of the construction of the informatization,functions could achieve such as searching campus information rapidly,locating the target spot precisely,building ties between classes and courses intelligently and sharing messages of study and life on time.Constructing an all-around and open-ended,interactive digital campus platform will be an inexorable trend to facilitate all teachers and students.The research object of the paper is Nanan campus of Chongqing Jiaotong University.Building model is based on the GIS data.Firstly,use CGA principle in City Engine modeling software to fast generate building model,road model and object model.Then adjust dynamic parameter of the specific model and elaborately compile and generate three-dimensional scene of the specific building.Secondly,send the three-dimensional scene to the ArcGIS Server.Use B/S technology building system environment,employ JAVAEE+SSM,MySQL and ArcGIS Server for Java Script develop platform for GIS network client.Implement and verify the geographical map function,live-action campus,school E-commerce,book management and classroom supervision by utilize TomCat open source application server.At last,implement the digital campus system platform of Chongqing Jiaotong University.Main studies of this paper is as follows:(1)Collecting and processing campus geographical space data;introducing technological platform of three-dimensional digital campus development and understanding its operating principle,to apply data basis and support the technological development of three-dimensional digital campus.(2)First comparing the modeling software,then using City Engine build a batch of different three-dimensional models rapidly.(3)Studying and analyzing different functions of three-dimensional digital campus system,accomplishing systematic architecture design and database design.(4)Sending three-dimensional scene to ArcGIS Server,based on the open source and develop framework and technology to develop functions of all clients and servers.Verifying all the modules of the system,and realizing the three-dimensional digital campus system based on WebGIS.
