Terrestrial 3D laser scanner can be fast, high precision and mass to obtain three-dimensional coordinates of measured object, construct the 3D model of object measurement precision, three-dimensional model of high precision of the present not only in the surveying and mapping industry has a wide application, but also in the restoration of ancient buildings, measurement, simulation and other fields also have a very wide range of applications. In the face of the ground 3D laser scanner technology index before many manufacturers launched the no unified view, and there is no uniform standard for the confusion caused by the status quo, JJF 1406-2013 laser scanner calibration specification of China in May 2013 published "(hereinafter referred to as the" standard")provides static calibration method for terrestrial laser scanner. In this paper, the calibration of the performance parameters of the terrestrial 3D laser scanner is studied with the advantage of the Shandong University of Science and Technology and the hardware resources. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) This paper introduces the technical background, the problems faced inthe development process, the present situation of development at home and abroad, and the purpose of this paper.The "norms" in the terminology involved and the calibration method are explained.(2) This paper briefly introduces the structure, working principle,classification and practical application of the main terrestrial 3D laser scanner. Various sources of error analysis of ground 3D laser scanner,and theoretical analysis and description of the classification errors in practical engineering; analyzes the calibration method of 3D laser scanner.(3) The "norms" in the terminology involved and calibration methods are explained, and the provisions of the calibration device are introduced. Through the experiment on the ground 3D laser scanner calibration, first through the target of different positions for scanning,error to obtain the coordinates of the center of radial distance, then measure the fixed target number, radial repeatability and reproducibility of target 3D laser scanner for verification; finally, by constructing the relevant calibration field to scan the target in different distance and azimuth and data analysis, spatial distance on the ground 3D laser scanner error of calibration, further testing performance of 3D laser scanner in the actual measurement and the uncertainty is analyzed and compared with the nominal precision.(4)Combined with the promulgation of the "standard", the standard calibration of 3D laser scanner is fully reviewed.
