The Study On The Relationship Between Technology And Modernity

For a long time,the acdamic circle focused more on the spiritual and institutional aspects to discuss "modernity",but less from the "technology" as a practical aspect to discuss modernity,this paper attempts to stand in the overall view of the philosophy of technology and the theory of modernity,and explore the relationship between technology and modernity.In the relationship between technology and the formation and development of modernity,technology make modernity become possible,as a "material framework" to shape modernity and promote its transition,at the same time help establishing the principle of subjectivity,and promote the "rationalization" process of modernity with the mutual help of reason.In the relationship between technology and modernity crisis,modern technology problems have become the main manifestation of modernity crisis,it performances for three aspects: technology rule the society,technology is the composition of the risk and the impact on the living life.The emergence of modern technology problems includes five causes of modernity by in-depth study: the capitalist application of technology,enlightenment reason is secularized as instrumental reason,human subjectivity expands into anthropocentrism,optimistic technical determinism and a single technical practice,and the cycle of epistemology about solving technology problems.In the relationship between technology and modernity outlet,it is revealed the relationship of separation and integration through the study of Heidegger,Marcuse and Fenberg’s thought of technology,the practice of modernity is not equal to the planning of technology,but the development of technology should be committed to de-capitalization,ecologicalization and humanization,so as to promote the reconstruction of modernity better.
