With the improvement of multi-beam sounding technology and people on the results of the accuracy requirements continuously improved, the amount of data rapid expand. The requirements of multi-beam sounding data processing software are also changed—faster,better human-computer interaction interface, higher processing precision. Contented above requests, this article uses the software tool Studio Visual 2010, graphics interactive operation,OpenGL, database processing and other programming techniques, to develop data processing software, and make data display and edit.Firstly, based on the deep analysis of the principle of multi-beam sounding, three kinds of sound ray tracing model, the triangular method, the constant velocity model and the constant gradient sound velocity model, are studied. Then the deep solution technique of the beam footprint of the multiple beam is considered, which includes the installation position of the fixed device, the Footprint calculating of the basic matrix under a state of shaking,Establishment of three coordinate system and method of mutual conversion, and the ultimate realization of the depth of solving methods in geodetic coordinate system.Secondly, the design and fulfillment of the software multi-beam. After the deeply discussing of Visual Studio 2010 software development, and the usage of the document / view architecture for building software framework, then depending on the software functional requirements, eight window date display and features added was completed. To improve efficiency, these windows will be restructured gradual completion of data processing. After subsequent processing of the experimental data, the verification of the software meets the design performance requirements.Finally, to realize arrays installed calibration. This section contains the angle (horizontal,vertical and heading) affected by the installation of sounding biased the results, the study calibration process and method for a particular terrain, successfully designed a calibration software module, which is able to read the data file and after calibration step into the final adjustments to achieve output of calibration results.After dealing with the results of analysis of experimental data, the correctness of the method and technology research described above is verified, and the expected goal of software design is achieved.
