Compared with other non-diffracted beams, the Airy beam, a kind of non-diffracted beam,is more promising with its features of self-healing and self-bending. The non-diffraction and self-healing of Airy beam will be applied to the wireless laser communication system, which is helpful to decrease the interference of the atmospheric turbulence to the communication system.Therefore, it's of great significance to study the Airy beam produced by the experiment and analyze its three characteristics.The main work of this paper is as follows:1 .This research analyzed the features of the infinite energy Airy function and the finite energy Airy function with means of formula derivation and comparison of function graph. The self-bending, self-healing and non-diffraction of the Airy beam were described by making use of the simulation diagram. Meanwhile, this research also investigated the influence of the decay factor a and the scale in the transverse x0 on the self-healing. In addition, the analysis of effects of facula's occlusion area of the Airy beam on its self-healing will be discussed in the end.2. This research analyzed the theory of Airy transform, and the results illustrated that Airy transform was equivalent to the optical 4f system in the optical system, as well as it derived that Gaussian beam will carry on the diffraction process of the Airy transform via the optical 4f system with the cubic phase diaphragm. Finally, the Gaussian beam was experimented as an incident light source to produce the Airy beam through the optical 4f system.3 The principle of advantages and disadvantages for array Airy beams were analyzed by comparing the Danmman grating and the phase hologram. With means of summarizing two ways mentioned above, tlhis paper utilized cubic plhase diaphragm of multiple two-dlmensional Airy beams to be in an orderly combination, which will produce multi phase diaphragmofnvo dimensional Airy beam with property of self-focused array.The results show that the non-diffractive propagation distance and self-healing recovery distance of Airy beam will decrease with the increase of the decay factor a.while the decay factor a had no effect on the self-bending. On the other hand, the non-diffraction distance, the self-healing distance will enlarge with increasing scale in the transverse x0. By the experiment,it show that the Airy beam had characteristics similar to non-diffraction, self-bending and self-healing. Based on multi-phase diaphragm, array two-dimensional Airy beam was produced,which changed phase and made each main lobe offset direction points to the centre of an array.Thus, the array two-dimensional Airy beam was featured by self-focusing.
