In the past few years,Airy beam has been widely studied due to its unique non-diffractive,self-healing and self-bending properties,especially for two-dimensional Airy beams.Circular Airy Beam(CAB)was first introduced by Dimitrios G.Papazoglou etc.in 2010,which has the property of abruptly auto-focusing near its focal point.The intensity of the beam keeps a low and steady value until it propagates to a certain position where the intensity experiences an abrupt increasing process,reaching a peak value.This interesting behavior leads to a variety of applications and research.In the meantime,the analysis of CAB intensity pattern leads to new research topics in modified circular Airy beam and vortex airy beam etc.In experimental research of CAB,most are achieved by means of amplitude and phase modulation.This is to say,the most common method to achieve the CAB is encoding the phase and amplitude information into SLM.In this paper,I first introduce the research background and significance of elliptical Airy beam,as well as the research status and application prospect.Then,the basic theory and properties of Airy beam are introduced,then the basic theory and properties of circular Airy beam are analyzed,and the theory of paraxial transmission of circular Airy beam is analyzed.Next,? adopted the method of single pixel board will be elliptical Airy beam of amplitude and phase information encoding phase,the load on the spatial light modulator,after 4-f system has realized the ellipse Airy beam.I use the Matlab to do simulation in theory,the experiment on the Airy beam structures,optical path to achieve the ellipse,then compare the experimental results and theoretical results,and verified the theory hypothesis,discovered the unique elliptical Airy beam quadratic convergence ability,in the process of the spread in the space and energy flows to the long axis of strange phenomenon.
