Research On Emergency Thematic Map Rapid Mapping Method

Emergency thematic map is an important product of emergency management of surveying and mapping safeguard mechanism,it is important to quickly response all kinds of public emergency and express special features.Compared with the normal map,emergency thematic map has the characteristics of multiple map content?unfixed scale and strong currency.Emergency thematic map production can't be separated from the support of database.For the existing emergency project map production,there is the problem of complex production process,standard inconsistency and so on.The nature of the graphics-driven mapping is integrated data with data expression rules,so using the integrated technology to make the emergency thematic map can standardize the production process,improve the efficiency of production and achieve the goal of rapid mapping and updating.This paper studies the layout of the emergency thematic map and the basic characteristics of the thematic map.By summing up the integration of technology to the emergency map of the rapid production support,this paper analyzes the design methods and principles of symbols,transform sets,statistical charts,graphs and image illustrations in templates,gets the rapid production process of the emergency thematic map,achieve the rapid production of the emergency thematic map.The following are my finished research:First,the geometric,attribute and symbol graphs of emergency project data are expressed by using the integrated product DLGM.The symbolic generation rules of the basic geographic information elements and thematic elements are defined by the design of the element symbols.The topological map model is applied to the geometry,topological relations and visual symbols of the emergency thematic elements;Second,using the highly automated statistical charts(graphic tables,histograms,pie charts)to organize thematic elements,which is used to express the correctness of the expression of the text,the attached drawing,the legend and so on.Achieve the automatic generation of contours through the customization of profile templates and achieve the effective rapid organization layout;Third,with the help of the integrated platform MapStore,we designed emergency thematic map templates to meet the different scales and the special requirements,compromised the multi-source geographic information data and thematic data in a data system through the conversion set,and use a variety of automated mapping function to achieve the rapid production of emergency thematic map;In this paper,we formulate emergency rapid mapping technology;it can be able to quickly make batch and meet the specifications of the map results.According to the user's requirement to the rapid and effective forum content organization,it can effectively improve the degree of automation,production efficiency and data quality of thematic map productions.The research results are applied to the production of emergency thematic maps in Shaanxi Province and quickly complete the emergency thematic maps production of the districts and counties in the province.
