Empirical Analysis On The Regional Difference And The Influence Factors Of Marine Economy Development In China

Entering the 21 st century,as the sea-land two way comprehensive economy,the marine economy has become a great power in national economic growth and the most potential direction of the global economy.As a large marine country,China is rich in marine resources.China's marine economy has been maintaining rapid growth,but regional differences in marine economy are also very important problems we have to face.The regional economic difference has always been the core issue of regional economic research,and it is also a practical problem that can't be avoided in economic research.Therefore,as an inseparable part of the land-based economic system,the study on the regional differences of marine economy is of great theoretical and practical significance for the sustainable development of marine economy and the long-term coordinated development of China's economy.The paper aims to comprehensively analyze the regional differences of marine economy in China's coastal provinces from the two dimensions of time and space by using statistical analysis and econometric methods.In the time latitude,this paper systematically expounds the temporal characteristics of marine economic development from the summary of marine economy development and the development of major marine industries.In the spatial latitude,this paper expounds the spatial characteristics of marine economic development from spatial evolution and decomposition of marine economic regional difference and convergence test of marine regional differences.On this basis,the paper uses exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA)to examine the spatial agglomeration effect of marine economy in China.The results show that the development of marine economy in China shows a positive spatial correlation,which is there is obvious spatial agglomeration in China's marine economy.In addition,introducing the term "geospatial",chooses a selection of index,with consideration of spatial effects,regarding the factors that affect the regional development of China's marine economy.Based on the panel data of 11 coastal cities and provinces in China between 2000 and 2014,ordinary panel data model and spatial panel data model are constructed to analyze quantitatively the impact of these factors on the regional development of marine economy under different spatial scales.The analysis indicates that spatial Durbin model with the application of spatial effect can make more accurate estimation.The result suggests that capital investment,labor forces,natural resource and foreign direct investment have positive effects on the marine economic growth in China.
