The Z12 well area is located in the middle of the northern slope of the northern slope of the Ordos Basin. The main source of oil generation is the Chang 6 reservoir group, which is a low-porosity and ultra-low permeability reservoir. In order to better explore the reservoir characteristics of the Z12 well area and to understand the distribution regularity of the underground sand bodies, this paper studied the 3D geological modeling of the Chang 6 reservoir in the Z12 well area.PETREL modeling software was used to complete the modeling work for the study area 6 reservoir. The precise geological model obtained provides a theoretical basis for future exploration work and provides an accurate and clear model for comprehensive reservoir research that meets the real conditions in the ground.Based on the signature layer and sedimentary cycle, combined with logging data. The study group 6 oil reservoirs were divided into four subgroups 6~1,6~2,6~3and 6~4,of which the length 6~2 and length 6~3 were the main oil layers.Chang 6~2and Chang 6~3 are delta front water slide turbidite fan sediments. The turbidite waterways are relatively developed, and the thickness of the stratum does not change much. The sand body thickness is usually about 10m.The reservoir debris composition is mostly gray, dark gray, and feldspar sandstone. The porosity and permeability of the Chang 6 reservoir are low,and the main reason for this characteristic is compaction and cementation. The type of reservoir reservoir is mostly residual intergranular pores, and there are intragranular pores and fracture pores. The types of pore combinations are mainly interstitial pores and dissolved pores, which are fine throat-micro throats and mainly throats;Long 6 reservoirs range from 1.13%to 16.93%,and the overall average porosity is 7.62%.Permeability range is(0.01-3.29)×10-3?m2,and permeability is 0.24×10-3?m2 on average;it is a low-permeability reservoir. The PETREL modelling software was used to complete the corresponding geological models such as structural model, sand body model and attribute model in the study area. The modeling results presented the heterogeneity of the formation, which provided favorable help for future exploration.
