The environmental pollution haze has aroused the attention from all walks of life,to make more exploration of the characteristics of n-alkanes and PAEs in atmospheric PM2.5 in Hangzhou,this study set up two sampling points in Hangzhou,one is located in a residential area near downtown and the other is in a residential area near the industrial areas.Different size of fine particulates were collected by different sampler.This research use soxhlet extraction,column chromatography purification,nitrogen concentration to pre-treat the particle samples,and finally got the data of n-alkanes characteristic by GC-MS.The results show that:1? It mainly found DBP?DEHP?BBP at two sampling sites in autumn and winter2014.The total concentration of PAEs in winter is higher than that in autumn.It means seasonal variation can inhibit pollutant diffusion,contaminants were easily gathered to cause heavy haze in winter.2? DBP is the highest one in DBP,its maximum is 1317.62ng/m3 in winter,888.62ng/m3 in autumn,DEHP content is followed,concentration of BBP is similar in winter and autumn.The content in urban is lower than that in industrial area,it shows that industrial area has much more sources of PAEs to release into the atmosphere.3? After collecting 13 levels particles in heavy haze period,atmospheric aerosol particles in 0.4001.600?m represents a significant share in all sizes of the particles.DBP is mainly adsorbed on the particles which diameter is0.6501.600?m,DEHP is mainly adsorbed on the particles in diameter of0.4001.600?m.Compare with the data of TSP in 1999,it means PAEs is significantly adsorbed in PM1.6.4? In Hangzhou industrial area,as PM2.5,the mass concentration range of n-alkanes in atmospheric aerosol is 81.25612.56ng/m3 in autumn and178.24995.73ng/m3 in winter.In Hangzhou urban area,the range of them is161.51825.25ng/m3 in autumn,480.461475.36 ng/m3 in winter.The content in winter is higher than in autumn,the content in industry is higher than in urban area,it has great correlation with the large ownership of vehicles in the centre of the city and the huge traffic volume on the road.5? N-alkanes in Hangzhou is primarily from anthropogenic sources,especially in the urban area,CPI of urban area sampling point is very close to 1,it stands for n-alkanes is mainly from oil,fossil fuels and vehicle exhaust.Compare to the industrial area,the factor of traffic is less than urban,it tells us the sources of industrial area are both of biogenic and anthropogenic characteristics,automobile exhaust,fossil fuel combustion dominate the sources.6? The concentration of n-alkanes in 13 levels particles in Hangzhou,get peak in the size between 0.651.00?m,get nadir in the size between 2.59.97?m.N-alkanes are mainly adsorbed on the PM2.5,and PM1.0 account for a significant proportion,that means n-alkanes is easier to be enriched in the fine particulate matters in winter.7? The main peak carbons in n-alkanes of 0.039.97?m diameter particles is C22,C24.PM1.0 mainly come from vehicle exhaust,the burning of fossil and other human sources.Particle size between 2.59.97?m are mainly from biological sources.
