With the continuous development of our social economy and people's consumption level,more and more consumers are pursuing of fashion consumption and fashionable consumer goods like wigs gradually come into the people's consumption view.The demand of hair products is becoming larger and larger.Therefore,domestic enterprises of hair products are developing rapidly,but the supply and demand of wig markets has become increasingly prominent with human hair resources relatively lacking and its prices rising.It is more important that specialty chemical fiber can be as a growing role of wigs.PVC-based fibers is made of PVC resin by spinning.It has good flame retardant.The strength and ductility properties of spun PVC fiber are close to human hair.So PVC fiber is one of the best materials to making wigs.In this paper,PVC/CPVC melt-spun fiber preparation technology and the properties of spun fiber are studied.The optimal ratio of plasticizer is determined by the study of processing technology and properties of PVC fiber with different plasticizer systems.To improve thermal stability and flame retardant properties of PVC fiber,we blend PVC with CPVC with adding in different thermal stabilizers.It is studied of processing technology and properties of PVC/CPVC composites with adding in different heat stabilizer system.Then using the method of the chemically modification and physical intercalation effect improve PVC/CPVC fiber heat deformation properties.The research of spun-fibers' after-treatment process is studied because of that plasticizer might be migrated extracted and volatilized from fibers during use process.The properties of heat deformation and flame resistance are improved,while avoiding contamination of the plasticizer.In this paper,the main research results obtained are as follows:(1)Melt spinning processing temperature range of PVC fiber and PVC/CPVC fiber is 150?180 ?.The best formula is each 100g matrix adding in 40g DOP and 20g DBP and 4g organotin T-580 heat stabilizers and other processing aids.(2)PVC melt and PVC/CPVC melt are pseudoplastic fluid.The apparent melt viscosity decreases with the temperature increases,the apparent melt viscosity reduces with increasing shear rate.(3)PVC/CPVC composites take crosslinking reaction with the crosslinking agent TAIC/DCP.The heat shrinkage property of the fibers is improved by crosslinking reaction.The fracture strength of the fiber increases,the elongation at break decreases.(4)The intercalated structure is produced with PVC/CPVC composites and Org-MMT in the melt extrusion process.Compared with the unmodified PVC/CPVC fiber,the heat loss rate and heat shrinkage of this spun fibers are both reduced.The fracture strength increased and the elongation at break decreases.(5)The optimum condition of after-treatment process is that using fibers and diethyl ether weight ratio of 1:12 treat under 60min.Compared with fiber treatment with diethyl ether,the breaking strength of the fiber increases and the elongation at break decreases,the heat shrinkage fiber significantly reduces,The limiting oxygen index significantly increases,the flame retardant of PVC/CPVC fiber significantly improve.Through effect of orientation of further stretch,the fiber surface appear small gully after treatment with diethyl ether.
