Roller kiln appeared in the 1920s, so far it has gone through nearly one hundred years, ceramic roller kiln energy consumption problem for many years has been the most concern of the researchers, energy consumption is also the topic of mutual interests all over the world, so take effective measures to try to reduce its energy consumption is the first task of the ceramic roller kiln optimized.This topic research take reducing energy consumption as the main line, by changing the structure mode of traditional roller kiln, put forward a new structure model of roller kiln. The main characteristic of this new model of the roller kiln is that both kiln top and kiln bottom is curved, namely arch top and arch bottom structure, the whole kiln body is similar to the shape of the eggs, in this paper, we call it egg-shaped roller kiln. Using comparative analysis method, explore the new model in the innovation of the firing temperature field and the distribution of the gas flow field. Contrast object is through the establishment of two traditional models, one is arch top and flat bottom structure, the other is flat top and flat bottom structure, at the same time analysis the two traditional model of the innovation of the firing temperature and gas flow field, and the project of egg-shaped temperature field of the kiln body and the distribution of the gas flow field analysis, got the conclusion that the feasibility and superiority of the put forward model.Fluent software is applied in this article, under the premise that the same initial boundary conditions, simulated the internal flow field of the proposed egg-shaped roller kiln structure and the structure of the two traditional roller kiln firing, the simulation results by Tecplot post-processing software to deal with the three kinds of the distribution of temperature field and velocity field contours, and comparative analysis on it. Analysis results show that this topic proposed the egg-shaped roller kiln structure can solve the problem that it is difficult to control the temperature of wide-body roller kiln better than traditional type roller kiln, this new type kiln furnace temperature can be controlled within ±5?, a greater degree to ensure the quality of the firing of ceramic products. And the type kiln can better ensure furnace heat losses, and can reduce the air combustion-supporting wind, efficiently reduces the energy dissipations of the fire;Couple of arc top and bottom at the same time also increases the volume of furnace chamber, can satisfy the current industrial production, wide application requirements section of the kiln, egg-shaped structure can strengthen the furnace air flow, and reduce smoking the draught fan requirements, saves the electricity.
