This thesis aims at the strata movement and surface subsidence control of solid waste filling through the methods of field research, data collection, theoretical analysis, laboratory tests, and numerical simulation. The different damage characteristics of overburden between solid filling mining and caving method are analyzed, the surface subsidence deformation of solid filling mining is summarized, and the formula of displacement of the rock strata is derived based on the mechanical analysis in this paper. The numerical simulation software FLAC3 D is used to analyze the different influence of surface subsidence deformation in different solid waste filling conditions such as depth, height, length of working face, filling rate, compression ratio, and so on, the law of surface subsidence in solid waste filling is derived. The model of filling fully mechanized equivalent mining thickness is also established based on the analysis of influencing factors of surface subsidence in solid waste filling. The calculated minimum filling rate is derived according to the analysis of Limit of the surface deformation in“Buildings, water, railway and coal pillar and coal mining regulations”. According to the first working face of solid waste filling results, the paper selects the estimated parameters of T3292 filling working face, calculates of the equivalent thickness of mining of the working face, and predicts the ground deformation in solid waste filling by using probability integral method. After analyzing the predicted results, it proves that solid waste filling can control the damage of the overlying strata effectively, reduce the destruction of underground greatly. The results of the study have a certain theoretical guidance and engineering significance to Tangshan mine subsequence solid waste filling and the other filling mining in similar mine areas.
