Boring is an important part of mechanical processing and the error compensation technology is an important subject of fine boring process. In order to improve the machining precision and efficiency, compensation boring head with automatic tool compensation function is widely used to semi finishing boring in industrial production. As executive compensation action mechanism, boring tool micro-feed device has become the core technology of this kind of batch automatic production line. At present, researching on tool online error compensation technology in domestic focus on turning and grinding. Therefore, researching on micro displacement of boring tool, to enhance our online fine boring machining precision and efficiency, not only has the important theory significance, but also has practical benefits.This paper invents a flexible hinge parallelogram deformation body structure scheme, which is driven by a wedge mechanism. This paper analyzes the error relationship between the actual value about the coupled motion error and the theoretical value without the consideration of the coupled motion error in the quadrilateral compensation mechanism. Deduced the formula of angle and stiffness of circle hinge type with single and double. According to the theoretical formula, this paper designs three kinds of schemes of the deformable body, and analyzes stiffness, strength by the finite element analysis software ANSYS. The paper designs a test equipment, used for testing compensation performance of deformation, including mechanical structure design and electrical control by PLC.Using the test equipment, this paper carry out inquiry experiment about the bolt's pre tightening force and select the best initial pretension for deformable body. What is more, this paper complete deformation compensation ability test, repeatability test, resistance test, precision cutting force deformation test. According to the index of deformation body evaluation, the paper analyzes the effect of different number and widths of hinge on compensation performance.
