This research is based on the design of Super-long CNC Fine-boring Machine, the boring machine is used for finishing the holes in ram. As a subset of the study, the work of this paper is the program design of online detection of machining parameters, simulation system design, as well as radial micro-feed control of Boring. At the same time, the author verifies the above design principle through the experiment of detection and control.The author makes an evaluation of error of the three holes’ roundness, coaxiality parallelism band implementation of workpiece (ram), chooses a specific method of error evaluation. Based on the way of eddy current displacement sensor’s displacement measurement, the installation and measurement program is designed. The author develops a simulation programme using Matlab to read out the collected data, and then assess the error of roundness, coaxiality, parallelism implementation with the application of the selected method, gives the specific results and the corresponding map show.For the problem of boring’s micro-feed, the author makes a design of radial movement based on the method of linear motor-driven. On the basis of that method, the authors carried out experiments to detect and control using eddy current displacement sensor to measure outer of rotating axis, surveying the outer three different locations.The two outer circle was set a clear outline with human error. Applicating this method,the answers were gived. Using the answers to guide the linear motor in feed movement. In controlling experiment, in the control of single-chip,the linear motor does the positive and negative movement. Communications between PC and MCU is serial communication.The input of parameters is through interface, the distance and directionof the movement is in accordance with the above answers,realizes the control in fixed distance and direction.
