With the development in the scope of iron making constantly, the furnace charging devices are being consummated at the same time as well. Due to its importance in the metallurgy industry, our iron and steel enterprise are focusing on its performance extremely. Whether the entire facility performs well or not is surely determined by the performance of its part. This thesis is to analyze one rotation gear box during performing used on the upper material hopper of the bell less top. This gearbox is main driving device, which is so important to the bell-less system.The lowest speed shaft bears the highest torque. In practicing performance, it usually appears pitting and teeth breaking, and the gears on it bear the highest force, so, the analysis to the gearbox could transfer to the analysis of the shaft and the gear.The invented unit design and performance imitation analysis is a certain kind of modern mechanical design model, which adopts powerful auxiliary designation and analysis of the computer, to transfer the parameters and characteristics of the products into the entire digital invented environment.This thesis begins with driving force parameter calculation, using Solidworks to build and assemble the model in the software, and to analyze the force and the characteristic of gear transmission mechanism, using Ansys software to analyze the shaft in the static state, in order to accomplish the whole analysis to the equipment, to analyze and solve the problem.
