Gas stoves are very close to people's daily life.In the process of using the gas stove,there are many problems,such as low efficiency,high pollutant emissions and other issues.It is very important to study how to improve the gas stove performance and reduce emissions.Porous medium combustion technology is a new combustion technology,which has several advantages,such as high efficiency,strong wind disturbance,and low pollutant emissions.In this paper,the porous medium combustion technology applied to the gas stove,so a new kind of the gas stove,namely rotating premixed gas stove was designed.And the new gas stove combustion characteristics were studied in detail,including the following contents:In cold conditions,the study of the entrainment characteristic of the rotating premixed porous gas stove has carried out.The experiments performed by change the throttle opening degree and the gas flow rate.The results show that when keep the gas flow rate constant,and the throttle opening changes,the average oxygen content of the interior premixed will increase with the increase of the throttle opening,in line with a linear relationship,and the amount of air volume will increase,the system back to steady state with shorter time.While the degree of throttle opening is constant,and the gas flow rate changes,when the flow rate increase,the average oxygen content premix interior will decrease,the amount of suction air volume will increase,the time system change to stable will be long.During the thermal experiment,the ignition and flame propagation characteristics of the porous gas stove analyzed in detail by change the throttle opening degree and the gas flow rate.It found that the ignition characteristic related to the opening degree of the throttle.When the throttle opening is more than 75%,the system cannot ignition;the throttle opening is 50%,there will be instability flame ignition,with the sound of "Puff puff",then the flame extinguished;only the throttle opening is 25%,the system can be normal ignition.It also found that there are four different states in the process of combustion,which is the initial stage of the fire,the flame to the porous media,the internal phase of the flame,and the stable combustion stage.At the beginning of ignition,flame in the surface of porous media is blue;When the flame move into the porous media,the flame of the surface with a little blue flame,and the porous media looks dark red;When the flame stay in porous media,there is no obvious flame in surface and the porous media looks red brightly.Experiments by changing the gas flow rate and the throttle opening to study the temperature distribution and pollutant emission properties.It turn out that the temperature of the surface is not the same everywhere,and the throttle opening has a great influence on the temperature distribution.After ignition,then increase the throttle opening,the areas of the flame will shrinkage,and the temperature will get down.If keep the throttle opening degree constant,the flame will move into the porous media,the flame transfer will reduce the surface temperature of the porous medium,until the flame completely move into the porous medium.The study found emissions of pollutants associated with the throttle opening and the gas flow rate.The emission of pollutants,such as CO and NO_X,will change with the combustion conditions,and it will reach the minimum during the stable combustion phase.
