The serious spontaneous combustion fire disaster of coal mine in our country is the major hidden danger threatening coal mine safety production. This paper provides theory basis and technical support for field application through studying the inhibitor technology of coal spontaneous combustion. Using thermogravimetric analysis and infrared spectroscopy technology, respectively, the coal samples were researched before and after adding 1%,4% MgCl2, CaCl2, NaCl and CuCl2 inhibitor, and predicates resistance effect of coal sample thingking the ignition activation energy as index, and compares functional group change rule of the coal samples from the infrared spectrogram. The results show that the ignition activation energy increment is the most for coal samples added 4% CaCl2 solution, the spectrograms added inhibitor have red or blue shifted, is the best ratio. And through adding corrosion inhibitor H3 and wetting agent to the chosen inhibitor agent S2, the inhibitor agent effect hasn't been affected and at the same time it prevents corrosion of underground pipeline and increase the effect of wettability. According to the actual situation of Tongxin coal mining, continuous drawing nitrogen injection method was been used in 8105 working face. Fog inhibitor was poured using nitrogen injection pipe, to prevent residual coal spontaneous combustion.
