Bentonite as an important industrial mineral,widely used in the drilling, metallurgy,ca sting and other industrial fields,casting bentonite yearly global consumption.Liaoning Chao yang district rich bentonite resources,mainly in the production and processing of casting with soil and famous,but the high-quality surface indicators recoverable original soil grad ually decreased,the companies are faced with casting thesoil reduces the original soil indi cators and production process needs improved problem.To solve these problems,the paper selected two original soil Chaoyang district,the use of hydrocyclone purification technolo gy,exploring each individual sodium purification effect of soil,soil purification effect of di fferent proportions of sodium,while the contrast withthe extrusion of Na Act the results, measured by analysis of two soil layer charge of the case type.Results are as follows:XRD,SEM analysis of ore A, B soil samples for ore basic performance measurement, using hydrocyclones for ore purification treatment,the A, B ore single factor test conditio ns,mixed, multi-factor orthogonal test, etc.studies to determine the best solutions and the ratio of sodium modification of soil conditions and determine the casting process perform ance,analysis of water,cationic species and other factors affecting the mechanism for casti ng bentonite binder,determination of the chemical composition and calculation layer charg e determine A,B two minerals belong to type.the results show.XRD analysis to determine A, B are typical of calcium bentonite,(0 01) d values were dA=15.0035A,dB=14.76708A;SEM analysis showed that the same ma gnification conditions,B lamellar ore more,and a particle size finer than A mine;Under op timal conditions for purification,A,B two mines are the smectite content of more than 90 %;Experimental results show:A1 Best alkali content of 5% to 35% water addition,the agi ng time for 6d; B1 optimum amount of alkali to4 %, plus 35% of water,aging time for 5 d;orthogonal test results showed that:with 3#mixed soil,soil purification A1:B1= 1:2 ratio,w ere mixed,and the amount of alkali 4%,plus 35%of water,aging time 6d sodium as the b est conditions possible to prepare GB a product to meet the requirements of casting bent onite:blue adsorbed 40g/100g,expansion fold 23ml/2g, glial price 100ml/15g,normal wet co mpressive strength 105Kp,hot wet tensile strength3.0Kp,reusability 62.5%;two soil sample analysis results showed layer charge:A charge of1.22 seam belongs Cheto montmorillonite, B seam charge of 0.50,typical of Wyoming montmorillonite.
