Electric arc furnace steelmaking is a commonly used method.The arc furnace has the advantages of flexible control of molten steel temperatur e,high thermal efficiency, furnace atmosphere control,simple equipment, hort tec hnological process and so on.In this paper, the control system of 10 ton electric a rc furnace steelmaking is studied,and the computer control system is studied and designed.The computer control system of arc furnace mainly comprises a furnace body, a furnace cover, water cooling equipment such as electrode lifting electric control system, and the arc voltage and arc current, temperature, flow, pressure,light and heavy gas automatic measurement system etc..The electric arc furnace steelmaking equipment and electric arc furnace steelmaking process are thoroughly analyzed. According to the steel work process, this paper designs the overall scheme of electric arc furnace steelmaking control system. The scheme includes the PLC control system, complete all kinds of logic control subsystem, calculation and collection of field data processing and control algorithm. In the production process, alarm interface design through the PC using i FIX configuration software. And through the MPI and SIEMENS PLC communication to read the field data, in order to show the dynamic production process, to achieve remote control of the system.Electric arc furnace steelmaking is a large amount of heat generated by metal smelting three-phase arc electrode. The electrode lifting system is an important part of the electric arc furnace steelmaking. Because the arc has nonlinear and time-varying characteristics, brings many difficulties to the electrode lifting control system of steelmaking design, This paper adopts constant impedance control principle, using PID control algorithm to control the electrode lifting system, through the analysis to verify the effectiveness of the control method of PID simulation.The real-time control of the working process of steelmaking was realized by the computer monitoring system, improve the efficiency and management level ofsteelmaking plant.
