Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) are a class of crystalline materials built from organic binding ligands and metal ions through self-assembly. Currently, MOFs have drawn a growing interest among the scientific teams of various fields. In this thesis, a series of novel organic bridging ligands containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thioether and 1,2,4-triazole-2-thioether have been synthesized. And we investigated the self-assembly chemistry based on these ligands and transitional M(II) salts. At the same time, eighteen new coordination compouds were prepared and they were characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction, 1HNMR and IR. The PXRD and TGA properties of the complexes were also investigated.1. First,eight new semi-rigid and rigid organic ligands based on 6-quinolyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thione have been synthesized. Then the coordination chemistry based these organic ligands and transitional salts such as Ag(I), Cu(II), Co(II), Zn(II) and Cu(I) has been investigated. Nine new coordination compounds were synthesized. In addition, the TGA and PXRD properties of the compounds were investigated.2. The coordination chemistry based on quinolyl benzimidazole organic ligands and inorganic Co(II) and Ni(II) salts has been investigated. Two new coordination compounds were synthesized. In addition, the TGA and PXRD properties of the compounds were investigated.
