In this paper, reutilization of waste polishing porcelain tile in original production line was investigated.Hard raw material and clay was ball milled respectively.Based on the analysis of chemical and phase composition of polishing porcelain tile waste, the particle size of waste, species and quantity of deflocculant and water-reducer were optimized. It was found that the waste polishing porcelain tile which was grinded and sieved through a150 mesh was beneficial to the stability of ceramic slurry, the hard raw material slurry containing 0.5wt%CMC has the best suspension stability, and the solid content of the ceramic slurry could reach 70% by adding 0.3wt% polycarboxylate 600 and was suitable for spray granulation.Effect of waste polishing porcelain tile addition to the density, water absorption and bending strength of the product was also investigated. It was concluded that the addition of waste polishing porcelain tile was beneficial to decreasing sintering temperature and increasing the density of the sample. The density and water absorption of the sample sintered at 1210 ? for 20 min was 2.36g/cm3 and 0.02%,respectively.Moreover,excessive waste polishing porcelain tile would lead to an overburn and strength decresing(from 67 MPa to 48MPa)to the sample. The optimum content of waste polishing porcelain tile was 22wt% in this paper, and the suitable sintering temperature and time was1210? and 20 min respectively. The pilot production showed that the product properties could meet the national standard for building ceramic tile.By using the research results, cooperative enterprise would saving raw material cost 15 million Yuan and energy cost 0.85 million Yuan annually.
