With the rapid development of natural gas pipeline,pipeline leak has become an important issue at home and abroad.The leak of natural gas pipeline not only can cause a waste of resources,but also may lead to huge economic losses and other serious consequences,like fires,casualties and environmental pollution.However,due to the special nature of the gas,conventional leak detection methods of oil pipeline are difficult to apply to natural gas pipeline detection.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out research on natural gas pipeline leak detection technology.Focusing on the bottleneck problems of existing Real Time Model leak detection method,this paper will make research on natural gas pipeline leak detection technology based on Real Time Model and Pressure Profile.Firstly,a real time model of pipeline is built through PNS to simulate different leak conditions,and to get the change rule of pressure profile with time.Secondly,the common feature of pressure profile along the pipeline is found through a detailed analysis of the simulation results.And the parabolic equation of gas pipeline is chosen to research the theory on the feature.Thirdly,the mathematical leak detection model based on pressure profile is established in this paper through the gas pipeline parabolic equation which is obtained by linearizing the gas pipeline flow model,and it is solved to obtain the relationship between the pressure profile and the leak position,which is called leak detection model.Finally,the Java language is use to complete the program design on the model parameters and the mathematical leak detection model based on pressure profile.And this paper verifies the leak detection model by using eight sets of leak simulation data,while the errors analysis on the location results is completed.
